As an engineer with 35+ years of experience in the plastics industry. I have designed parts for, worked in, studied, and/or taught just about every type of production. I have managed plants as small as 20 people and as large as 200 people. I have worked with my hands in rebuilding and modernizing machines. I have worked with my head in using SPC/Six Sigma to track down production issues and correcting them. I have worked with spreadsheets tracking down financial issues with plants and, when allowed, making the necessary changes to the overall process to make the plants profitable again.
I have designed parts for packaging, toys, food applications, in injection molding, thermoforming, EPS/EPP, custom wood cabinets and furniture.
